aww come on. he sounds like he's falling asleep or something. bono's vocals just lack the passion that's there when he performs it live.

I disagree. Certainly, it's better live, but even in the studio, I can't think of anything they did in studio better than that.

I did not like Bad at first, but thats cause I heard it when I was really young, and I didn't understand that there could be good songs about drug use. all those wasted years.

Well, you think EBTTRT is their studio masterpiece, so I'm not sure what to think.

I'm looking forward to the remaster of TUF, and what Bad will sound like all cleaned up.

I want to know what if anything is going to be released from the TUF sessions, that'll be killer.

ETA...apparently I hit quote instead of edit

We've probably heard most of what's going to be on the super-special-deluxe-2-disc version. Maybe one or two extras.

that stems from two things: i like their 90s output best (but that's not to say i dislike their 80s material...that's a close, close second for me), and i like dance stuff. but i'm sure if i relistened to everything again, i'd find a new favourite, because it does change every few years. last time i had a favourite U2 song, it was tuf.

my least favourite U2 song? yahweh. live or studio, doesn't matter. they both fucking suck.

oh jesus, if they even think of rerecording any of their past material, from ANY album (that includes you, mercy) i'm going to scream. they need to learn to leave well enough alone. they already tried to ruin pop, as if badmouthing it to death after it "bombed" (aka didn't sell 50 million records) wasn't enough

I disagree. 3-4 new tracks. I think you underestimate them.
