Anyone going to watch this series on PBS? I like hearing the stories and seeing the old footage and photographs from World War 2. It will also be released on DVD on the 2nd of October. (Amazon is selling it for 89.99)

I will be checking it out, I'm a fan of Ken Burns other works, although the style can be repetitve, the concept of this one is interesting.

I thought th e"Civil War" series was brilliant.

He really made it come alive.

I did not realize there were so many pictures and personal writings.



There already is a lot of stuff on WWII.

I may watch some of it.
