I'm enjoying this start by the Stars.

But geez I wish they and the Thunder had tried a bit harder to come up with uniforms that look different. I know it doesn't really matter in cricket, but...

I'm sure I've posted about it before, but I went to a Phoenix game in Auckland (North Harbour) (Albany) where they wore a grey one off strip. The visiting team wore their grey away strip.

If I ever have to watch a shitshow like that again I'm going to ask for a refund.

Yeah like it's a hard one to fuck up isn't it.

A-League teams are effectively but not officially required to play home games in smaller areas at least once a season. The Phoenix have wussed out previously and gone to Palmerston North.

New thread is loaded and ready once we hit the 1000.

God couldn't they go to Napier or New Plymouth or Tauranga rather than subject their players to Hamilton?

Thunder fighting back, by the way.

And I had been thinking of using Gnaw Bone for the next thread but clearly I'm too slow!

I feel like they've got a New Plymouth game this year.

I guess subjecting the team from Gosford to Hamilton seemed only fair.

Phoenix up 2-0 on one of the best goals I've seen in a long time.

From a player who has scored four goals in 204 games.

Incentive for us to blast through the new one. I feel like live comments on the Women's BBL might help.
