War Child
Give this album a spin if you have extra cash to spare. Very quality! Basically kmfdm broke up in 1999, split into several different bands - mdfmk being one of them - and rejoined in late 2001. Although it doesn't have all the original members (minus En Esch) it stills is amazing.
The first track begins with a really slow beat and lyrics that sounds like typical old kmfdm backwash, but then it explodes into beats as thick as beads of rain in a monsoon. This album is extremely solid in my opinion. Usually I'm judgemental and pick apart songs I think are too lame to supplement the disc, but this album is a straight forward listen. Some of the lyrics I don't agree with, but still the music is great.
Listen for "Super Hero" on the radio. If I'm correct it'll be their first radio-friendly song ever. They came onto the Industrial rock scene back in 1984. Try this new album!
