Somehow I got to the game late and have just discovered this great, great artist.

Josh Rouse. The album is called 'nashville'.

I can only describe it as Michael Penn and Chris Isaak have decided to work with The Smiths down in Nashville and be produced by Grant Lee Buffallo and Michael Stipe.

Is this means anything to you, then pick up this CD (iTunes it, etc.) ASAP!!!

Songs to hear: Winter In The Hamptons, Street Lights, Sad Eyes, Life.

Not a weak song on the album

This has been on my wish list for a while, and I just picked up a used copy. It's really wonderful.

It's amazing to me how infectious his melodies are.

I think people write him off as another James Blunt or Jack Johnson or whoever the hell else has an acoustic guitar these days...but Josh Rouse has this maturity to his songwriting that's really refreshing.

Highly, highly, highly recommend people check this out!
