u2er, have you heard the original by radiohead?

She thinks I can't see the smile that she's faking
And poses for pictures that aren't being taken
I loved you: grey sweatpants, no makeup,
so perfect...
Our love was comfortable and so broken in
She's perfect, so flawless
I'm not impressed
I want you back

--"Comfortable" John Mayer

Ever hear his cover of "Message in a Bottle" by the Police?

I recently read a review of john mayer's album and they summed it up by saying his music is for guys who wear j. crew and sip cappucino at starbucks pretending to read poetry to pick up chicks.

I am obviously not a yuppie in a starbucks and I like it
and no he is not a one man cover band, he writes plenty of his own stuff.. he doesn't put any of the covers on any of his cds
