Jeremy's an amazing athelete and I think, bad luck aside, he would've done amazing in the mens 500m speed-skating. It would've been totally cool to see him up their with Casey FitzRandolph and Mike Ireland.

Canada still loves you Jeremy!!!

Good thing Canada did so well otherwise...Wotherspoon and his screwups got barely any attention.

Adam: Look guys, I got a Springfield spoon for my spoon collection.
Edge: Oh boy, here we go...
Bono: Wow, how many is that now Adam?
Adam: Nine. If I didn't have my spoons, I'd go insane.
Bono: Can I see it?
*adam gives bono the spoon, bono throws it away*
Adam: My spoon!

i saw a fair bit of coverage on that day, after that though it died off but that was when hockey was about to gear up.

He got a lot of coverage here in the U.S. In fact, when they interviewed Fitzrandolf after he won the gold medal and Jeremy just fell, you could see that he was visually upset because they're such good friends. A real shame things went as they did for him.

Good on ya Jeremy. You'll redeem yourself in 2006.

He could be really, like Dan Jansen. Every cloud has a silver lining. Every story has a happy ending.

I dunno... it was on the CBC post-Olympic wrap-up. And on the day of, they were replaying it from three different angles.

But I hope he's at Torino in 2006.
