11/30/05: JACK WHITE CONFIRMS BABY RUMOURS



WHITE STRIPES frontman JACK WHITE and his supermodel wife KAREN ELSON have confirmed reports they are expecting their first child together in the spring (06).

Rumours of the redhead beauty's pregnancy first emerged in early October (05), but Elson's representative waited until yesterday (29NOV05) to make the news official, adding the couple are "deliriously happy".

White and Elson wed in Manaus, Brazil on 1 June (05) after a whirlwind five-week courtship. The pair met when Elson appeared in the video for the White Stripes' single BLUE ORCHID.
