hey speaking of which you'll be happy to know that after several listens i've decided to upgrade a spilt enz song to five stars. quite an honour indeed. only 10% of my songs in my entire library are rated five stars.

i wouldn't go THAT far

although i screamed my ass off when dd played new religion in memphis. but that was different, that's their best song ever AND they rarely play it live. and many other peeps were screaming as well.

but i wouldn't scream during a ballad. that's rude.

Blue Sky Mine I think. :guitardrivenrock:

Screaming/loud cheering is fine for any song. Any kind of emotion or appreciation towards their songs which mirrors mine, I think is cool. But my ears actually hurt prior to MTMG at Sydney.

my ears were ringing and i lost my voice for days

i couldn't talk or hear anyone

i was disappointed when i saw def leppard because i was so far up, no one around me was really singing. i felt kinda self conscious about screaming the words like i usually do. i only like to do that when i know i won't be heard over the actual singer. otherwise i think it's bloody rude. in retrospect i probably shouldn't have let the 45 year old drunks around me put a damper on my fun.

My theory on crowds at concerts are... pay no attention to them unless they are really into it... then it adds to the experience.
