Well just want to bid you all adieu for the weekend...in Canada this is our Victoria Day long wknd, aka "May 2-4"

Just a plea to my fellow Canadians heading north to the cottage or camping or other festivities:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!

Don't drink and drive!!

Every year lots of people die on the roads on the long wknds because of impaired driving.

For that matter, if a joint is your thing, don't smoke either. Also to be avoided: eating while driving and talking on the cell phone!

Concentrate on the driving, and when you reach your destination, then you can cut loose and have that beer!

And DO make sure you load up the old CD changer with tons of U2 to drive everyone else in the car who may not like them completely batty...heh heh...

Let's all have a safe and happy long weekend!

But I totally agree with your sentiment about drinking and driving. definately not a good thing to be doing.

Yeah, it's pretty bad in GB too. I'm actually suprised they don't have a "Drunk Driving" simulation unit in drivers ed.
