It's Been 26 Years...

Tonight, right about now(10:30PM EST) actually, is the 26th anniversary of the night John Lennon was shot dead.

Let us acknowledge this date and say a few good words in memory of a man whose impact on rock music and on pop culture is almost beyond description.

A true legend. The greatest rock star there ever was.

I visited the site where he got gunned down earlier this year...very touching and bizarre experience.

Couldn't help but marvel at the "Imagine" memorial at Central Park...what an amazing tribute, and full credit to the Lennon fans who sit on the benches and play the great man's songs to the appreciation of many a tourist...

26 years, one wonders what he would be like now.....
