Where's a video of 'Electric Blue'?! I can distinctly remember my sister always listening to the radio in the mornings when getting ready for school and 'Electric Blue' seemed to be in the height of its popularity. I still like that song.

Electric Blue was about the most overplayed Icehouse song by anyone from anywhere, I think. Even Shika did the same My sister recorded it continuously off the radio onto a tape and played it until we were nearly institutionalised. I loved the song, but sheesh!
Icehouse link me to this time when I understood the greatness of cassette tapes, though. So much more portable that records, no chance of scratching, no need to walk softly around the player - plus you could steal songs right off the radio!! And let's not start me on Cassingles. So cheap! Anyway, when Man of Colours came out and I purchased it on cassette, it was the greatest day.
