Its a long shot cos no one's heard of it it seems

There's a song called (I think anyway) "You Shit Me To Tears". I dont know who the artist is, and can't really remember any other lyrics....
Lyric searches proved fruitless, anyone have a clue what song this is? It's a few years old.

Any help, as usual, much appreciated!

Thanks

Oh Angie this is an easy one! The song is indeed You Shit Me to Tears. The band is the Tennants.

Some lyrics include:

'I'd like to shove your head against a barbed wire fence
but you'd probably tell me all about it

You shit me to tears etc.

it was fondly remembered during the JJJ Hottest 100 on Sunday. They were reviewing some of the stranger songs that placed quite highly in previous years and that was one of them.

I totally fell for their false #1...I was a bit shocked/disappointed but thought, hmmmmm "this IS Australia", nothing surprises me anymore. It was good so many Australian bands polled in the Top 10, "Greatest View" was one of my picks. That Dave Grohl sure made his presence felt. They told a funny story about the singer from "Queens of the Stone Age"...sensible man!!

It's not a lullaby...

I've already forgotten what no. 1 was. It might have been Grinspoon, and then again it might have been Foo Fighters.

Or perhaps Ben lazarus-with-a-triple-bypass Lee.

Thanks for posting that up Cass
Its nice to see 1200 techniques so high up too. I thought they had kinda disappeared, but I only listen to commercial radio who have a habit of not keeping the good stuff on air for long.
