I have to add that Roger doesn't come off as a very likeable person. He sounds just a little bit fucked up in the head. Of course overall, I do like how Waters' cynicism and darkness complemented Gilmour's airy dreamy soundscapes perfectly and they always achieved that right balance... at least until Final Cut when Roger completely took over as the dictator.
