Is there an alternate (older?) version of Muse's Invincible?

I love this song but I could've sworn I've heard this before as a slightly slower, more keyboards based (I think) version! Either that or another song sounds remarkably like Invincible.

Well, if it's a different song altogether then it is unbelievably similar to Invincible. Unfortunately I don't know any of the lyrics in that song, not even one word. Wish I could hum the tune so somebody can help me! :scream:

Cos now this is gonna be in my head.

Follow through
Make your dreams come true
Don't give up the fight
You will be alright
'Cause there's no one like you in the universe

Don't be afraid
What your mind conceives
You should make a stand
Stand up for what you believe
And tonight
We can truly say
Together we're invincible

During the struggle
They will pull us down
But please, please
Let's use this chance
To turn things around
And tonight
We can truly say
Together we're invincible

Do it on your own
It makes no difference to me
What you leave behind
What you choose to be
And whatever they say
Your souls unbreakable

During the struggle
They will pull us down
But please, please
Let's use this chance
To turn things around
And tonight
We can truly say
Together we're invincible
Together we're invincible

During the struggle
They will pull us down
Please, please
Let's use this chance
To turn things around
And tonight
We can truly say
Together we're invincible
Together we're invincible

Yes!!! That is it! That is it!!! I just downloaded the song from limewire to make sure!

OMG I love you xavi!!!

:shifty:

I love that song, Everybody's Changing  :combust:

Soooo.... does anybody see this? Muse's Invincible is a total rip off of Keane's Everybody's Changing!

Okay, maybe not rip off but... they're eerily similar!

I can see where you're coming from, but they are really different.

Everybody's Changing > Invincible

Both are good songs, but Everybody's Changing is only my 2nd favorite Keane song.

Behind the underrated, beautiful Untitled 1

ha! I never even considerd this. the thought never crossed my mind bt now that I've read this thread it's so obvious. Not a rip off but yes very similar. Both songs are great. Not sure which one i like more. Maybe Everybody's Changing by a bit. Damn. I hope tis thread doesn't ruin these songs for me. When I'm listening I'm alwasy gonna be hearing the other one now.

Thanks guys! Your replies convinced me to go get Hopes And Fears. Found the limited edition with dvd at Circuit City for just $12.99!

I got mine for $8.99
It's seriously one of my favorite albums of the decade. I bought that and Bomb at the same time. I was playing Keane a lot more though...

Wow! I'd forgotten about this post. I posted something very similar in your last.fm! Hopes And Fears is definitely in my Top 10 if not Top 5 albums of this decade I think. Still haven't warmed up to the new one but so far it sounds promising. I find it odd that Keane doesn't have that many fans on this forum.

Everybody's Changing
Bedshaped
Untitled 1
Somewhere Only We Know
This Is The Last Time
Bend And Break
We Might As Well Be Strangers

Yeah, everyone thinks they are boring. I personally don't mind slow piano ballads and Tom's high pitched voice.
My mom loves them, which I guess is another indication as to why they aren't well liked.

I think Tom should fight Chris Martin for "Piano-Balladeer" supremacy.

Only after Conor Oberst and Ryan Adams fight for "Indietastic" supremacy.
