something like Tomorrow comes today, or everyday comes tomorrow, in the chorus
and each verse begins with a day of the week

Like, monday comes something something

i dunno. I heard it on the college radiostation today and they don't put up playlists on their site.

the song sounded very beatlesesque. ther were bits that sounded like indian music. something off revolver or sgt peppers like, but i know it's not on those albums.

it could have been a cover too.

tomorrow never knows? i don't think that's what it is though...it's just the first thing i thought of...

*goes to think more about this*

that's my best guess. Tomorrow Never Knows. Has the indian sound, beatles, yeah. COuld definetly be it.

The only other song I know of (thanks google!) with the lyrics "Tomrow comes today" is more of a hip-hoppy, sort of song by the Gorillaz.

yeah. i dunno. it's mind boggling. i emailed the music director of the college station that played it asking for help.

i try my hardest to remember the lyrics and stuff so i can find out who it is when i get home (assuming i'm in my car listening to the radio)

but i totally forgot about it for like 5 hours.

blah!

i do that, while driving...I have to grab a pen and paper from my bag and try and write down the lyrics while manuvering the highway.

Um, I'm not a bad driver, I swear. I swear.

this is probably a reason i shouldn't drive. i know that when i finally do get around to getting my liscense, i'll focus too much on the radio rather than the road :shifty: or the conversation with the passneger...not that i don't do this while driving a golf cart at work already :shifty:

"Lady Madonna"?
kinda fits in with your verse description...

Lady Madonna, children at your feet.
Wonder how you manage to make ends meet.
Who finds the money? When you pay the rent?
Did you think that money was heaven sent?

Friday night arrives without a suitcase.
Sunday morning creep in like a nun.
Monday's child has learned to tie his bootlace.
See how they run.

Lady Madonna, baby at your breast.
Wonder how you manage to feed the rest.

See how they run.
Lady Madonna, lying on the bed,
Listen to the music playing in your head.

Tuesday afternoon is never ending.
Wednesday morning papers didn't come.
Thursday night you stockings needed mending.
See how they run.

Lady Madonna, children at your feet.
Wonder how you manage to make ends meet

I FIGURED IT OUT! IT'S:

"six days" by DJ Shadow. It is off of Private Press.

here's the lyrics:

Six Days

At the starting of the week
At summit talks you'll hear them speak
It's only Monday
Negotiations breaking down
See those leaders start to frown
It's sword and gun day

Tomorrow never comes until it's too late

You could be sitting taking lunch
The news will hit you like a punch
It's only Tuesday
You never thought we'd go to war
After all the things we saw
It's April Fools' day

Tomorrow never comes until it's too late
Tomorrow never comes until it's too late

You hear a whistling overhead
Are you alive or are you dead?
It's only Thursday
You feel a shaking on the ground
A billion candles burn around
Is it your birthday?

Tomorrow never comes until it's too late
Tomorrow never comes until it's too late
Make tomorrow come I think it's too late

I just gotta figure out if it's sampled, since most DJ's sample music and turn it into new music like Moby and stuff.

nah, i don't know who it is. it could be him. but it's not a beatles song.

i wonder if it's a george harrison solo song or something.
