yikes.....

What's the big deal with honour? Why is it such a big thing? (i.e. these army guys always want to achieve/obtain honour....isn't tehre anything else? Is honour individualistic, or can it be a collective thing)

Sorry, weird random question.

Why does stress give people muscle aches?

Yay! A question I care about. Sorry Melon, but the geeky biochemist that I am must at least ponder this question.

Thanks, DrWho! I figured it's the amino acid composition which will affect digestions, probably because of the specificity/preference of the peptic active site. And btw, I think there was a study done several years ago with camel serum, which indicated pepsin digestion rates varied among the subclasses.

How the heck does the ripple effect work (not in RL, but actually in water...a drop falls into a pool...why do ripples radiate out from it?)

Why does the moon appear to have phases?

Why did we stop going to the moon? Do you think we (humans) will land on mars during your lifetime?

How can I fix my computer now that Kazaa f**ked it up? (without reformating)

How tall is Bruce Springsteen? No cheating :D, because trust me, I've got a pretty good idea about the answer to this one...

And how does he look so good at his age?

I had to laugh at this because my fiancee once got a very interesting call at work one day.

Finacee: Hello?
X: Hello I am calling to inquire about some jewelry that was featured in last month's issue.
Finacee: Uh, OK - how can I help, first of all, what is your name?
X: Well, my name is Mrs. Springsteen and I was looking at some necklaces...
FInacee: Mrs Springsteen, as in MRS. SPRINGSTEEN?
Mrs Springsteen: yes...

I do not remember the rest of the conversation, but I thought it was hysterical that Mrs Springsteen (isn't her name Patti Scalfia or something like that?) called her and called herself Mrs. Springsteen...

True story - somehow my fiancee was able to verify it was actually her (I did not believe her either...)

Melon:

Have you ever read anything by Douglas Coupland? (You should.)

Do you have a favorite poet? If so, who is it and why?

Thank you. :)

Hello everyone...

I'm flat out exhausted lately, between work and school, and it hurts to think lately...lol. I may try and reply to the rest of this over the weekend, but I'm not going to stress too much over it. ;) Anyhow, as weird as this thread is, I'm glad many of you enjoyed it.
