I see him so much since Bond and he has at least 5 movies out next year, even Pierce Bronson didn't get that many other roles when he started Bond

Pierce Brosnan wasn't as good an actor as Craig, or able to play as many types of characters.

Well said.

Rent Munich, Europop.

i've seen Munich...and don't get me wrong I really like Daniel Craig...i'm just saying the number of roles hes getting is staggering

If you check out his IMDb page, he's been in a fair amount of films before Casino Royale. Now he's just getting lead roles.

I still think Clive Owen would have been better...

Judging by The Hire and Shoot 'Em Up, I'm actually going to have to disagree with you there.

I haven't seen either of those yet so I can't judge I guess, any specific reason?

I just feel that Owen might not have been able to pull of the particular high-wire balance of ferocity/humour/sophistication/seduction that the role of Bond demands. Craig pulled that off more beautifully than I ever could have imagine, which is also why he's my favorite Bond actor of the whole lot.

Not saying Owen would have been a bad Bond, he certainly could have been better than the likes of Brosnan, Moore, or even a couple of the others, but I feel he would have over or under characterized one of many of those qualities I mentioned before.

You could ask the same question about Angelina Jolie.:|

If there was anyone in Munich that kicked more ass than Eric Bana,

it was Daniel Craig.

But seriously, I have no problem whatsoever with him appearing in all these roles. Hell, if I had my way he's be in every movie, starring in every role. And all his characters would wind up fighting each other in tuxedos... on moving vehicles... on fire...

...actually I just really want to see Bond 22.

I guess it's the "I head a lead role in a big movie so I'm getting more of those now" effect.

Road to perdition and Munich and I'm curious to watch how they will do the movie on His dark materials  but more importantly, on October 25, 2007, MGM CEO Harry Sloan revealed at the Forbes Meet II Conference that Craig had signed on for four more Bond films, through to Bond 25.
