Except it's pronounced "Sigh-bye", so, you're close and yet not at all close.

Cyby has a certain odd ring to it, so it might fit the bill. Mike has grown tiresome.

But it's the most common Anglican name on the face of the planet. Time for a change. Time for something uncommon. Preferably a name that does not even really exist outside of my seeing it in a book. This is the era of CYBY!

is it really the most common? cuz i haven't known that many mikes. now granted, it's not like i've been able to do a scientific study, but still.

although with my name, my first job had two other katies at one point. it was odd, katie b, katie c, and katie d, cuz we had to go by our name and last initial. and even with my first name...i've known tons of marys, maries, and marias.
