I've been to Ireland, but I would love to go back again. The first trip was great, but I didn't feel the tour gave much of a chance to experience Ireland, which I really want to do, because I'm of Irish descent and I'd like to get to know my background.
When I go back eventually, I don't want to go on a tour package. I'll just rent a car and go wherever I want to go and see what I want to see. And that would be both ancient sites, like Hill of Tara and Newgrange, and I want to spend more time in cities like Dublin and Galway, and maybe even Cork and Limerick. I'll even go check out the places that I visited the first time, such as the Cliffs of Mohr, Dingle Bay, and Kylemore Abbey. Hey, maybe I'll take a boat to the Aran Islands! Better yet, I'll track down my family roots and try to find long-distance relatives! I love Ireland, I can't wait to go back!
