LMP...Batman Begins at #22 and Batman at #37?

It's all opinion of course, but I don't understand all the praise Batman Begins gets. It seemed to be trying to hard to be exactly like the original comics and not hard enough to be entertaining. Plus, I'm not really a big Christian Bale fan. Every time I see him in something(although I haven't seen him in that much), his character appears to be insane/psychotic, like one of those guys that is always really quiet and always on the verge of becoming a serial killer(I'm basing this primarily on Batman Begins and The Machinist).

Michael Keaton is the best Batman, imo.

But I'm biased because I love Burton's Batman films.

If my memory serves me correctly(it's been a while since I've seen it), Batman Returns is my favorite Batman film.

Another thing I didn't like about Batman Begins is that the villan(s) was/were too understated. I can't even remember what the main villan's name was. I will never, ever forget The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, even Jim Carrey's Riddler in Batman Forever(I am aware this wasn't a Burton film).

Oh well, I'm rambling now. I'll shut up.

I grew up watching Burton's Batman and absolutely loved it. I'm a big fan of Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Tim Burton, and I love looking at Kim Basinger from time to time, that's a great combination for any movie.

After seeing Begins in theaters, (on my birthday, which was an added bonus) it completely blew me away. Now this was a movie that was all about Bruce Wayne and Batman, which is what I wanted to see. What hurts the other Batman movies is that the villains are always front and center, never Batman. Part of what you disliked about Begins, I loved.

Now when The Dark Knight comes out, I'm hoping The Joker is amazing and memorable, but I still hope the focus is on Bruce Wayne, and his struggle to continue to be himself and Batman. That's what makes Batman such a great character, his duality.

That movie sounds awesome. Anything with Burt Reynolds has to kick ass.

He was almost Han Solo and John McClane. How crazy would that have been?

Really? Damn, now that's one way to bring Star Wars back down to earth. The only way I can picture him these days is in a big ol' black Firebird.

I couldn't believe he went to Florida State, which is where I might end up going to college.

What, do you find that a bit unnerving, intimidating, or what? He never seemed to be the brightest penny on the sidewalk...I'm sure you'll do fine.

I could be like "yeah bitches, I'm standing where Burt Reynolds used to stand."

"Who the hell is Burt Reynolds?"

"A legend man... a legend."

Here's a question: How come Chris Tucker doesn't make films outside of the Rush Hour series? Seriously, look at his imdb page. Since the first Rush Hour, he hasn't made a single non-Rush Hour film, and that was 9 years ago.
