Can't ever have too much Sean Penn I did enjoy The Interpreter as well, and I Am Sam almost made my list. I went with Dead Man Walking instead. I only got to see Good Night & Good Luck once. I liked it, but need to see it again.

It's on the list of those "You have to be fucking kidding me, I'll never watch these sober" movies, along with Blue Velvet and almost every other David Lynch movie.

I posted my thoughts about Crash in the Temple Bar while I was watching it, Reggie at least was amused. I only watched it because I saw Spader and I Him...but wow...I just, I felt so...almost dirty watching that movie

DEFINITELY the Oscar winner. I've never seen a movie like it. I couldn't move for a few minutes after it was over. I would say the movie that affected me the most emotionall was The Passion though.

I got through about an hour of the Cronenberg "Crash" before turning it off.

Now, "Dead Ringers," however ...

I might be in the minority who disliked the Oscar winner Crash. I found it too overwrought and melodramatic, but that's just me.

1. Back to the Future (1985)
2. Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
3. Ghostbusters (1984)
4. Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
5. Children of Men (2006)
6. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004)
7. Pulp Fiction (1994)
8. Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
9. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004)
10. Aliens (1986)
11. Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
12. The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005)
13. Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)
14. Waiting for Guffman (1996)
15. Jaws (1975)
16. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982)
17. This Is Spinal Tap (1984)

This thread just makes me realize that my parents won't let me watch a damn thing. I've probably seen 5% of the movies you guys have named. Netflix is going to love me when I go to college.

Didn't you say the other day that you like Raiders better than Empire?

As an action flick, Raiders is better, but Empire is the better movie overall.
