did anyone include There's Something About Mary

Just saw some of Forrest Gump again tonight. Very good. Don't know if I need to adjust da list

I like it, but I still find it way overrated. It doesn't affect me the way Shawshank, Pulp Fiction, or even Ed Wood did (All came out in the same year and are more deserving of that Best Picture Oscar, in my opinion.)

Tom Hanks, Gary Sinise, and Bubba are the shit, but I don't buy the Jenny/Forrest storyline like I used to. A coke-addicted, hippie with AIDS ditches the one man who loved her until she has his kid, then marries him, and realizes he was right for her the whole time? I dunno.

Am I the only one who has never heard of this Leon movie???
In the US, it's known as The Professional. Jean Reno (from the Da Vinci Code), Gary Oldman (Dracula, Jim Gordon from Batman Begins), and a really young Natalie Portman are in it.

I'll stop accepting lists around 12 AM (ET) tonight for sure, so please send those last lists in.

I'm so glad I found this thread now!

Okay, this was a lot of fun to do. And I realize that many of these may not be considered by the general public as great movies but nonetheless they're my all-time favorites. The farther you go down the list, the less sure I am but I'm still pretty sure they all fall somewhere in my Top 25. Anyway, here goes...

1. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
2. Schindler's List
3. Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship/Two Towers/Return (hard to seperate)
4. About A Boy
5. Good Bye Lenin! (Berlin in 1989 )
6. Forrest Gump
7. Three Amigos
8. Dumb And Dumber
9. Jurassic Park
10. Speed
11. Big
12. Apollo 13
13. Titanic
14. Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey
15. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
16. Dazed And Confused
17. National Lampoon's Animal House
18. Wayne’s World
19. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
20. Italian Job (2003)
21. Star Wars: New Hope/Empire/Jedi (I wish this could be higher but I haven't really watched all 3 in ages... need to watch them again!)
22. Home Alone
23. Broken Arrow (edge of the seat Travolta action!)
24. Earth (really good but sad movie about Partition between India & Pakistan)
25. Signs

There's so many more but I simply cannot fit them in.

Anyway it was fun.

Glad you were able to send yours in, Zoots.

Also, to anyone who submitted less than 25 movies, you can send the rest of yours in until the deadline, too.

Okay, there are a lot of ties in this epic list, and I'm leaning toward breaking the ties by seeing how many lists that particular movie was on. For example

If Back to the Future and Forrest Gump both have 145 pts, and Back to the Future is on 6 lists while Forrest is on 5, then Back to the Future claims the higher spot.

Are you guys good with that?
