Here's a question: How come Chris Tucker doesn't make films outside of the Rush Hour series? Seriously, look at his imdb page. Since the first Rush Hour, he hasn't made a single non-Rush Hour film, and that was 9 years ago.

Because he's a terrible actor who nobody wants in their films?

Seriously, the best thing he's ever done was hide in Samuel L. Jackson's trunk with a shotgun.

So that's who he is. :giggle: He seems to be posting a lot more often these days. (the last week or so I mean) :)

I'm really terrible at coming at with top lists for music or movies because I always feel I'm leaving things out.

He thinks he can break the Blue Crack addiction (after the progfest). I say there's no chance  No one gets out alive :insertevillaughhere:

and mind you, Maddy's list is that of a (soon-to-be) 13 year old

^ :) You need to show me all these movies that are like #1 on everyone's list, like Shawshank Redemption for example.

I'll add Some Like It Hot to my 26-50 list, that's for sure.

Shawshank Redemption

Ha, my dad loves that movie, but I never bothered to watch it either. :slant: It's one of those movies that gets regular rotation on television, so we should check it out.

I completely forgot about Shawshank, but you're right Lila, you really have to be in the mood to watch it.

After this is done, do you guys want to do Favorite Actors / Actresses / Directors?

We all know Radiohead's gonna top that poll, it's no fun.

Shawshank came out in '94, so it's not that old.

I was only born 3 years earlier

To me, if it was before maybe 1970, it's old, but that's just me.

Sounds good, may get difficult but challenges are good.

Or maybe, and I'm going out on a limb here but we could also do TV shows?

Go for it LM. This movie list has been fun, and the other suggestions sound like they would be also. TV shows included.

OK, I had to finish the top 50 because there are so many cool films. Some of these belong in my top 25, but, whatever.....
Dr. Strangelove will always be my #1.

Outlaw Josey Wales
Babe
Groundhog Day
Godzilla (original)
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome
African Queen
Psycho
Mary Poppins
Bridge on the River Kwai
The Thin Red Line
Broadway Danny Rose
Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask)
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Blues Brothers
Ed Wood
Saturday Night Fever
Exorcist
The Omen
Chinatown
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Jason & the Argonauts (Harryhausen)
Abbott & Costello meet the Wolfman
Das Boot (subtitles)
Gone With the Wind
The Tin Drum
