OK, so how awesome is the final scene of "Breach"?

I mean, if it were in a better movie, it probably wouldn't stand out so much, but for the most part Breach was a fairly pedestrian (though enjoyable) political thriller. Nothing too great. It was extremely predictable as well, but that's what made the final scene so damn great. It was a brief moment of inspiration and cinematic brilliance that just snuck itself in at the very last second of an average film, then Boom, credits.

Made me glad I watched it.

I demand someone talks to me about that scene in Breach.

...and compliments me on my new Zooey stuff.

Zoeey is sublime, what more can you say?

The final scene in Breach? When he sees Cooper's character in the elevator?

"Pray for me"?

That's the one.

Like I said, not mindblowing in its own right. But given the handling and quality of the rest of the film, I thought I was extremely surprised by the unusual visual poeticism of that particular scene. It's pacing, placement, editing, Cooper's screen presence, just really struck me, and I felt bolstered the rest of the film a bit above what it could have been.

I think I liked the film a little more than you did.

I remember seeing that final scene and grinning in appreciation, though.

Like I said before, I did enjoy the film. Just never though it was anything special. But had the film been filled with scenes of that caliber, it could have probably been the Zodiac of that year.

I've heard good stuff about Cooper, and how the film itself was fairly underrated, but didn't get around to seeing it.

But allow me to drool heavily over new Zooey visuals.

I just realized what i said was really stupid. Breach can't be the Zodiac of its year, because its year was 2007
