So I'm driving home tonight, and they play Mysterious Ways. Afterwards, the dj says this (this is more or less what he said, I can't remember it word-for-word):

"That was Mysterious Ways from U2, coming from their Achtung Baby album. And speaking of U2 albums, they supposedly have a new one coming out soon. The rumours are flying, I was at a U2 fan site the other day called Interference, and there were people saying it was coming in March, people saying May, people saying August, and a few saying next Winter -- nobody seems to know! There's some song titles flying around too like "Sky Hawk" and "Love and Peace or Else" -- love that last one. Anyways nobody knows what's going on with this, but we'll be the first to let you know here on the Q as soon as we find anything out. I took a look around the site too, man, there's some real wackos there. Anyways I'm Bob McDonald and you're listening to Halifax's home of rock n' roll, Q104. Coming up we have a block of The Trews, and some Van Halen for you. <commercial>"

I was like  "that's so crazy!"

Everything looked believable to me except that one sentence :p

Hey call him up and ask him what his username is :mac:

does this make us famous?

or infamous?

There is no "Bob McDonald" even listed as a DJ on the Q104 website.

And even IF "Bob McDonald" called Interferencers "wackos"....check out the radio stations "Top 20 Albums of 2002":

2. Nickelback Silver Side Up

3. Our Lady Peace Gravity
4. Red Hot Chili Peppers By The Way
5. Sheryl Crow C?mon, C?mon
6. Bruce Springsteen The Rising
7. The Tragically Hip In Violet Light
8. Avril Lavigne Let Go
9. Puddle Of Mudd Come Clean
10. Coldplay A Rush Of Blood To The Head
11. Ozzy Osbourne Down To Earth
12. U2 All That You Can?t Leave Behind
13. The Rolling Stones Forty Licks
14. Various artists "I Am Sam" Original Soundtrack
15. Incubus Morning View
16. Various artists "Spider-Man" Original Soundtrack
17. Default The Fallout
