Oh, youd like that wouldnt ya... 28k modems... whats next? sliced bread? pfff... dream on... gettin all 28k modemy like the hippie that ya are... ho look at me, Im a modem! la la la Im doing the modem dance! la la la... back in my day we didnt have modems, we just put cheeze wiz between two loaves of bread and plugged it into our toaster ovens, because that was the style at the time, and so then they cheeze wiz formed a superconductive substance called Sunshine, now sunshine wasnt what it was really called, some folks called it melted hyposaturated glycosodium based vaguely cheese-like biproduct substance meil, but we called it sunshine cuz that was just the way things were done consarnit! Now, you took this sunshine and put it in a bottle, keeping in mind that bottles were made of grass clippings what with the war cutting down on our available plastic and glass supplies... where was I... Oh yes, so youve got your sunshine in a bottle, which you put into the ice box, which wasnt really a box full of ice like most people would think, no sir, it was a box made of ice that you stored in the oven, because thats the last place old kaiser bill would think of looking for a box of ice... but it wasnt so much a box as a cylinder... the communists had stolen our boxes, so we were left with the next most useful structure, the cylinder... So anyways, then you put the last of your rations into a bowl, well it was more of a bowler hat back in those days before bowls were invented... so you put the bowl out in the sun, and then at the stroke of midnoon, which was really a codename for midnight, since everything was in code to protect our nations secrets from the chineese who were ripe for stealing our ideas at the time, because you just know as soon as we started calling it 12:00am or 00 hours, theyd be there in a second calling it midnight, this was our way of catching them before they sold clocks back to us for heafty price... so anyways... thats the story of the first guard dog... which reminds me of another tale I once heard while vacationing off the coast of madagascar... but it wasnt madagascar at the time... it was called nomorenewbiesland, where everything was upside down and never as it seemed, and there was a head of parliament there, who some called deathbear, although he wasnt made of death, or bear, so it was just a clever ruse to trick Bill Gates' spies, because tricking microsoft was the style at the time... and then... *falls asleep*

For the record I would like to say that I accept those who accept the ham. It often frightens newbies with it's magic candy glaze. So they can either accept it or I will ignore them. Pro ham bear. PRO HAM!
