No it's Easter but I'll use any excuse to cook a turkey. We have ham semi regularly so I pretty always cook a turkey for the big family dinners.

You cake bake them in the oven or boil/mash them. They are also really good as fries

sweet potato fries

i love sweet potatoes though. i love to boil them up like regular potatoes, then mash them up. just use some milk, brown sugar, and a splash of orange juice. it's yummy oh and butter. you need lots of butter, of course.

i make the best mashed potatoes (of either variety) in the world. i also make the best cheeseburgers and the best turkey.

In my recipe you take mashed sweet potatoes and on top you put a butter/brown sugar glaze and then roasted pecans

That sounds tasty.

For dinner today I had a plate filled with salad and fruit (grapes and kiwi). Then dinner was wholewheat pasta, chicken and veg: cauliflour, brocolli, peas, mangetout and carrots. We have healthy, boring dinners.

We only got one easter egg too, to share but my Dad bought one I saw on tv and really wanted it (it's a big egg with another egg inside). We'll probably open that in another month.
