COLLEGE STATION, Texas- Texas A&M University President Dr. Robert M. Gates and newly-appointed Director of Athletics Bill Byrne introduced Dennis Franchione as the Aggies' 26th head football coach Friday morning in front of a packed Burkhart Auditorium at Kyle Field.


I tried to stop them. I had the scandal all worked out and was ready to go to the press this afternoon.....

I'm not real familiar with Texas sports, is football big in Dallas?
