Like in that Brady Bunch episode!

(Which I remember from its original run. The series, that is.)

Yeah I remember these things too! (well, not you and your sister recording yourselves, but we had a reel to reel recorder too).

Also:

-- I remember -- though vaguely -- the 1972 Munich Olympics. Well, I remember Mark Spitz and then the massacre.
-- Joe Montana at Notre Dame -- and that astonishing comeback in the 1979 Cotton Bowl -- I think that was the most exciting football game I ever saw. At least the last 7 and a half minutes. I remember thinking that day "wow! I certainly would draft him!"

-- had to laugh at the people who remembered the Bay City Rollers. Unfortunately, I remember them too. You gotta wonder what the fuck they were thinking with these charming outfits:

I remember my dad had a big blue Cadillac with an 8 track tape player. We had soundtracks to Grease & Saturday Night Fever, Meat Loaf & the Kingston Trio. Yeah, we were rocking!!

Whenever I heard Queen's "We Will Rock You", I'd ask him to turn it up.

Also, we didn't wear selt belts, & I used to sit on the arm rest in the front seat. So if my dad stopped quickly his arm would go out to protect me. I'm 33 now & my parents still do that whenever I'm driving with them.

OMG My mom does that too! I never developed that habit because when I started driving, seatbelts were more enforced.
