Seriously, though, this is very exciting! Friends of mine taught English in Wuhan, China for a year, and loved it. One of them continued her contacts there, and became fluent in Mandarin. Fluent enough to live for a long time in China and become very...shall we say...comfortable financially due to her journalistic and lingustic skills. It opened up a whole new and wonderful career and life for her. You will do well.
