If you could travel through time

If you could travel ONE-WAY through time, which would it be?

I sometimes find the answer to this question can tell a lot about the person answering, and it works well in job interviews, to see how quickly people can think, when faced with the unexpected.

P.S - it's ONE WAY, so you can't go forward, then come back and stop bad things happening.

And if you go forward, who knows what you'll find there.... ???

If it's one-way only, I'd rather go back in time -- that way, I'd know at least what major events would happen.

My favorite book series deals with this exact subject.

I'd go back. Mainly I'm curious to see what things were really like and for the possibility of changing stuff that happened. And as I spent most of my growing up years in a jungle, I don't feel too fazed by the idea of going without modern conveniences, etc. as I've done it plenty.

The main concern for me as a woman though would be the loss of human rights and equality. I guess I would be a pariah, because I don't think I could handle some society's attitudes towards women.

be happy with where you are and how things are.
if you improved something in the past, something else in the future of the past(which remains your past) might change for the worst and life could be a whole lot worse than it was. in the past.

stop wasting your time fixing up deloreans and work on improving the future.

Movies
and a lot more, but U all get the point.

Who knows what the future holds and that the way that I would have it.
