The dentist turned up the radio .

The other person did wind up going to the emergency room, I found out later . It was apparently an emergency appointment that was worse that what the dentist office could handle.


My tooth hurts now though. I got the temporary crown today (finally) from the root canal I had back in September. It didn't hurt after the root canal, but it hurts now .

I sent my U2 Hawaii tickets back today

I have a place of work that wants all the paperwork for a medical leave filled out now and I have a Dr.'s office that has not filled the paperwork out and says the workplace is being unrealistic in wanting the paperwork NOW which leaves me a little like this

My merit increase goes into effect next Sunday and I still have no idea what it will be. The way things are right now I'm seriously counting on finding out when I check to see what my direct deposit is going to be and see my new rate there.

Someone make sure that I go get a baby gift this weekend! I have a baby shower to go to next week.

I walked around the lake twice tonight It's a smaller lake, only a mile and a half around. I went with a coworker and we could have gone around a third time! We had quite the bitch session about work. I'm not the only one that hates it there because of our boss. I knew that but it was nice to know that others have gone to HR to complain about her.

my new phone arrived today but I didn't see the note on my mailbox until after the office closed I work both jobs tomorrow. I can get my phone before work or at lunch but I won't be able to play with it until late tomorrow night or Friday night. I cannot wait to have a phone that stays on! My favorite feature on my current phone is that I'll set the alarm clock as a back up to my other alarm, and the phone will shut off for no reason in the middle of the night even though it's fully charged This is the only phone I've ever had that I have not dropped a million times and it still doesn't work

There are postings up for a new area at work that make me since it relates to what I always wanted to do with my merchandising background but the postings that are up I'm not sure if I would be underqualified for or not. I really wonder if there will be a need for I guess "underlings" that would be posted eventually.

Can you ask some questions of the HR dept about the position? Why not try for it and if it doesn't work out then you could try for an "underling" position if they get posted. At least they would know of your interest in the position.

The last posting I put in hasnt been filled yet so who knows what is going on there....that I'm not crying over since it was kind of to get away from what I'm doing now but this department is something I REALLY would LOVE to be a part of.

You should definately go for it. What do you have to lose? At least they will know you are interested in that department if you post for it. Something else could come along down the line if this one didnt work out and they would know you want to work with them which is always a positive. Good luck!

I called my sister when I got home. She didn't answer, so I left a message. Okay fine right?

Well, then my mom says, "When was the last time you spoke with her? She hasn't called this week, I hope she's okay."

And now I'm freaked out. I've called all evening, left messages, no answer. I e-mailed her to call home - no answer. Maybe she's taking a nap and turned the ringer off, but thanks to Mom, I'm freaked . Now Mom's like, "Oh, she's just sleeping." and I'm worried .
