A smarter take on what Pearl Jam did in 2000. (offering them on the Web instead of music stores) Worthy charities get supported while at the same time the bootleggers take one in the ass. Not bad, IMO. I bought the one from the Hershey, PA show I attended last July.

It's a pipe dream, but Bono could raise a lot of $$$ for his causes on the next tour with a similar arrangement.

I agree its a good idea. Though 16 pounds becomes a bit pricey...about $24.50 US. But since charities benefit the price is easier to swallow.

Pearl Jam sold theirs thru the Ten Club website prior to releasing them in stores at $10.98 each, a very good value.

Townshend and Vedder are friends (Eddie was a huge Who fan growing up), I wonder if The Who got the idea from PJ.
