I know somebody who calls H2s "toolboxes", partly because of their square shape, partly because of the type of person who drives them!

Just say no.
I thought it was closer to TEN mpg! Either way, it's disgusting. On principle, I won't drive any car that gets less than 20 mpg. No matter how big and bad you think you are, you still need to breathe clean air.

I see so many H2s, 4x4s and SUVs clogging up our roads here. Because, after all, you need 4 wheel drive and a Hemi to navigate our flat, straight city streets. It's just an ego-wank, that's all.

I think they're a disgusting waste of resources and can't believe anyone besides military personnel would either want one or have a legit reason for buying one.

Hummers. A disgusting example of a culture which is hooked on status symbols and over-indulgence.

Those things are a fantastic symbol of the time honored American tradition of over-doing it.

Don't do it.

I don't think those cars are necessary at all, either. They're not even pretty. They're like the Louis Vuitton's of cars: ugly as hell but everyone buys them for status.

That's a great comparison. It's so true!

i have to say those things are chick magnets

a friend of one of my friends has a very nice hummer and one time we rode down to a club in it. well we got a parking spot right outside the front of the club and as soon as we pulled up all of these hot girls came up and started talking to the guy who owned the hummer. even guys came up and started talking to him about it.

i had never understood why anyone would ever want to get one until that very moment.

Maybe they want to be as cool as Schwarzenegger, who I believe has a total of 9 Hummers, even though he can only look stupid in one at a time.

Seriously, a Hummer is a complete waste of pretty much everything.

Okay, I have to admit when I saw the title of this thread I thought of this kind of hummer first.
