After Mick put HHH over 3 times in as many months and he was a mega heel - he was pretty awesome to watch. I am a massive fan of the Judgement Day Iron Man Match for example - I actually find it more entertaining than the Bret/Shawn one. His Fully Loaded LMS with Jericho also was pretty good. His last good match was the tag match where he tore his quad... and that was the end of that.

In terms of people who were great actual wrestlers, you can't go wrong with guys like Angle, Flair, Benoit, Bret and Owen Hart, Ricky Steamboat, Eddie Guerrero, Shawn Michaels and the ilk. New guys like Shelton Benjamin look to be joining this club pretty soon.

Guys like Undertaker are generally good workers who can be carried to a great match if they're facing one of the above group, but aren't naturally talented enough to carry a crap wrestler to a good match. I'll give UT credit, though; he's really changed his style a lot over the years, incorporating new submission moves to keep things fresh. He's not just the generic kick-punch-choke-tombstone guy anymore.

G
That is a good list. I caught a bit of Flair vs Angle the other night on Raw and despite a few missteps including falling off the ropes during the superplex attempt, Flair is still an excellent perfomer even though he is in his fifties.

Or even his matches from 98-99 with Austin, pure class, the better of them were gimmick matches (Fully Loaded 99 First Blood) but then again there is SummerSlam 98 pure wrestling and it was a great match... his match with Kurt Angle at Fully Loaded 00 was unbelievable...

I'm glad you like the ECW PPV, timothius.

Thanks uwedoggie although I already have it on tape. I loved the Mike Awesome/ Masato Tanaka match. That was HARDCORE!! I saw a couple of their matches against each other on TNN when ECW was on Fridays. Those matches gave me chills along with Sandman/Sabu.

Yeah, ECW was cool, but that last match... is not wrestling... it was pure violence

But Mike Awsome/Tanaka was incredible.

And I think Eric Bischoff got what he deserved.
