Loss of Innocence:
The End of the Innocence - Don Henley
The Child Is Gone - Fiona Apple
Gold Dust - Tori Amos

A good but kind of obscure "element" song:
Allegory - Murray Attaway

Okay so I've been informed that the song cannot deal with love, unless it's a love of the elements.

Again thanks for the help.

Boys of summer didn't work due to the love thing.

first song that comes to mind for me is Return to Innocence by Enigma.

Elements -

Dirt - Alice in Chains

Fire and Rain - James Taylor.

Please forgive me... it's 5am and I've been up for 24 hours now.
