I need help from someone in Ireland...

I thought 2FM was a top 40 type radio station...I'm listening to it online now and they're playing Cat Stevens(which isn't bad at all).
Exactly what type of station is it? Do they play new U2 when it's released? I'm just a little confused...

i can't listen to it now. my office placed a firewall to the site. trust me my friend and i have been trying to tune in during work so we could go down memory lane. but i do listen to it from time to time while i am at home.

i was chatting with a dublin girl today on soulseek

we discussed damien rice and stuff

and she recommended phantom fm

and lo and behold, one song in they play one of my fav. songs ('sonnet' by the verve)

2fm play quite an eclectic mix of tunes like Cool FM (Norn Iron radio station you might like) - they would play new U2 when its released

In my opinion, the best radio station is Phantom fm. The music is great!

As for the rest of the stations, I keep switching between 2fm, Todayfm and 98 fm. I have restless fingers.

One day I was walking down Grafton street and Spin FM 103.8 were passing out key chains but I have no clue what kinda music they play lol...i recommend FM104 What is that late night show? Adrian Kennedy! That's it...his phone show is feckin weird...once they were fighting about north/south dublin...they have some intresting characters on there LOL.

98FM is pretty good as well
