Better Than Ezra - Good
Blues Traveler - Run-Around
Bush - Glycerine
Del Amitri - Roll To Me
Dishwalla - Counting Blue Cars
Everlear - Santa Monica
Fastball - The Way
Gin Blossoms - Hey Jealousy
Hootie and the Blowfish - Only Wanna Be With You
King Missle - Detachable Penis
Marcy Playground - Sex and Candy
Primitive Radio Goods - Standing Outside A Broken Phone Booth With Money In My Hand
Sister Hazel - All For You
Soul Asylum - Runaway Train
Spacehog - In The Meantime
Spin Doctors - Two Princes

This list typifies 90's rock.....

They are songs that didnt revolutionise rock and roll, yet the 90's represent a time in which craftmanship was of the highest quality.

Bands like Gin Blossoms, Better than Ezra, Tonic, Diswalla, Toad the Wet Sprocket could almost have their own genre....

That is indeed a great list. 90s rock....

Del Amitri also had a song called "Always The Last To Know" that was pretty good, too-had forgotten about that one until some station played it again not too long ago.

Gin Blossoms are pretty good. I always liked what I'd heard by them . Found out recently that apparently Marshall Crenshaw had a hand in writing their song "'Till I Hear It From You"-that would explain one reason why I like that song so much, then (probably my favorite Gin Blossoms song).

So guys cannot listen to Enya and Paula Abdul? :eyebrow:
Well you can listen to them, but your penis might fall off at some point. I'm not sure if it grows back either  Oh, and add Sigur Ros to that list. Yeah I said it.

There can't be anyone over 28 on this thread.

I mean of those listing off songs that contain the Spin Doctors and Dishwalla.

If you were old enough to operate a car in 1993, you are old enough to tell the difference between "Little Miss" and "Jeremy"

All you youngsters get a free pass.

my most hated song ever is little miss cant be wrong by the spin doctors

if any one song could drive me to suicide, this would be the one

Aside from the downright feel-good rock of the 1990's, I also miss how Eurodance oufits such as Corona, Livin' Joy and the legendary La Bouche ruled the charts.

La Bouche were massive in the 1996 (my fave year) with killer dance tracks such as I Love To Love, Be My Lover and Sweet Dreams. Unfortunately, the chick from La Bouche apparently died in a plane accident several years ago. RIP to her. Her vocal made La Bouche sound delightfully edgy. Ahhh, the good old days....

I never quite understood what the big fuss was about the spin doctors. I found them rather annoying. I would actually prefer to listen to Enya.

I love the 90s:drool: What about Counting Crows?
Mr. Jones
Einstein on the Beach
A Murder of One
Rain King

Closing Time- Semisonic
Basket Case- Green Day
When I Come Around- Green Day
Wonderwall- Oasis
Don't Look Back in Anger- Oasis
Daughter- Pearl Jam
Until I Fall Away- Gin Blossoms
Found Out About You- Gin Blossoms
Buddy Holly- Weezer

There's so many more but I can't think of them at the moment.
