I was in NYC Saturday and won the lottery to get front row for the muscial, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

So I was happy that I won $25 dollars tickets and was in the front row.

During the performance, I looked over to my right and there was Jason....

Another girl next to me recognized him as well.

After the show, we went up to him and he was really nice.

The theater wouldn't let us take pictures inside the theater so we went outside and I got a pic with Jason and his autograph.

The picture of me and him is a terrible picture of me but a good one of him.

He was in NYC to promote Shopgirl

for those of you who don't know, Jason was in Rushmore. He's the nephew of Francis Ford Coppola, you get the idea.
Used to be the drummer for Phantom Planet.

^^^ why did you hate that movie?

talia shire is his mums name

Thanks, I knew it was shire but I forgot and didn't want to get it wrong.

The movie was too quirky and weird for me. I love movies too but that movie didn't do anything for me. Maybe I should watch it again???

I just read this about him on Gawker Stalker

Also saw Jason Schwartzman trying on (womens) pea coats at j crew, on Prince Street. As always, he appeared to be much shorter in person.

Isn't that funny how celebrities just seem so much larger than life on the big screen or at concerts or in general then when you see them in person they are these tiny people? I met Sly Stallone and George Michael and both of those men are just tiny.
