So I like all the classic rock usual stuff, Bowie and U2 got me into Reed and Eno, and Eno got me into Roxy Music. I now think Virginia Plain is the sweetest piece of candy I've shoved into my ears in months.

if all of that turns you on, then check out Wilco--and i mean ALL of it--the early stuff is so much different from the newer stuff, but dat don't matter much---cause it's all sooo gooood! and if you appreciate all of what U2 and David Bowie have done, (for example), and how much they have experimented and evolved, while still making great music (the way THEY want to make it), then you just may find Wilco's music just as meaningful and rewarding (and kick-ass as well)
