Used to live in Chambana. For now the Mid-South.
I'm not a "big" fan of guitar virtuosos but I don't hate the genre either. Of course I enjoy the whole athleticism of guitar that these guys have (cuz we know that they aren't artists but athletes ). So I bought the G3 concert in Denver on DVD with Vai, Malmsteen, and Satriani. All of them shredders.

I was blown away or at least hooked on a song by Joe Satriani (I also liked hearing Midnight live and the Extremist was great too). However it was his song from the album Strange Beautiful Music that got me hooked. It was called "Starry Night."

Here is a link to play the song Starry Night on Windows Media...

Of course its "just" guitar music... very shred worthy...

I recommend Strange Beautiful Music to you, all... It has a duet so to speak with Robert Fripp and Satriani on a very well known cover.... awesome track by the way...

Maybe some of you who hate virtuosity in guitar playing will still like it.
