Yeah, Anise Candy antipasta sounds awful, and what the heck is Dogzilla, Zeppoles, Plantain, Oblatten, Lefse, Haiwaiian Punch Hoagies, or Filberts?

Macaroni and cheese on a stick?!?

Deep fried twinkies - a heart attack served up on a paper plate maybe?

And goodness, I don't think I wanna know what bull bites are

You should be able to get all of it on a stick, or it isn't proper fair food.

Funnel Cakes

They're just gobs of fried dough with powdered sugar on top. Light and fluffy

Well, I behaved myself at the Fair. I only ate a Breakfast Crepe, a Poncho Dog and some cookies. I also tried some weird lemonade. My friend was planning to have a pork chop on a stick but the line was too long. I brought home some Pecan rolls, honey candy and the rest of the cookies.

We went on a water ride and I got sprayed pretty bad. I had to walk around with a wet butt.

Zeppoles are similar to funnel cake, but round balls. It is an Italian favorite in the New York/New Jersey area. They aren't quite as good at the Minn. State Fair.

Oblatten
Similar to Biscotti...cookies/crakcers for tea, coffee, etc. German in origin.

The others, like the Bull Bites (not what you think...knowing the resaurant that is serving it, it is bite size meat nuggets that are spicy) and Hawaiian Punch Hoagie....I have no clue.

And yes, the mac and cheese on a stick and deep-fried Twinkie are actual items. The deep fried Twinkie actually originated in NYC . (read an article the other day.)
