:applaud: mostly cause I"m in a Jim Henson/Puppet sort of mood right now...just bought my friend a Fraggle Rock Poster, and myself a Labyrinth one and my friends and i are watching the Labyrinth tonight

But back to Sesame Street! What child DIDN'T grow up to that? And did you see Stephen Colbert do the letter thing? Poor poor Z

I love sesame street. just look at my location. I even went to sesame street over the summer (see pic thread)

I watch it w/ my son in the mornings before he goes to day care and I go to work. We both watch it and he learns a lot and we are both entertained.

:applaud: I have fond memories of watching my son get so excited about the characters and sitting for hours mesmerized by the show. It's very entertaining and great programming cuz kids learn a lot.

I still can't get over the fact that they deepened Big Bird's voice. I think they deepened his voice anyway. I got freaked out the first time I heard Big Bird's deeper voice.

Man i used to love that, it was on all the time when i was a kid but its never on anymore i dont think.
Big bird was ALWAYS my favourite!

Ok, this is driving me crazy. I am having this memory of a muppet character on sesame street when I used to watch it, some sixteen, seventeen years ago. The character was a blue-ish muppet with long, blonde, stringy blonde hair and sunglasses, and he would always be like a teacher or something like that and he would always sing instead of teach. I remember him singing that 'Raise Your Hand' song a lot. Does anyone remember what I'm talking about? I can't remember the damn thing's name and it's driving me nuts.

Sesame street:bow:

although it took along time for me to personally pro-nounce the letter "Z" right.I used to say "zee" which was how they said it on the show and in the states..........but had to be corrected at school 'cause in Oz it's "zed"

My son loves the show........................and Elmo is our favourite monster!!!:cute:
