i hope to god my niece doesn't start having concerns about this. she is lucky and has my skinny genes *however i wonder where those are now. lol* but i know she dances ballet that weight concern will be out there.

oh and about weight loss, it is always nice to go to your doctor in your late 20's and watch him as he takes his hand and wraps it around your wrist and tell you that "you are small frame, you shouldn't be at the weight where you are at. you need to loose some weight, i want you to pick up some dieting info on the way out of the office! "

Yes, anorexia and bulimia are concerns.

However in America, a much greater concern is obesity. I think something like 55% of us are seriously over weight. It is taking years off of lives and much of the quality out of our lives.

I have high blood pressure that I can reduce by losing about 15 pounds and getting in some cardio-vascular exercise.

I spend too much time watching tv and online. I eat things based on my appetite instead of when I am actually hungry.

Sorry, I did not mean for this to turn into a rant. I am going to log off and take my lard a** on a five mile bike ride.
