I got R.E.M. tickets

June 19th Ardgillan castle Dublin and after that u2 june 24th
Has anyone seen them live and what are they like ?

oh, amazing. i've been seeing them live since the 80's. i much prefer U2 because I think Bono is a much more charismatic/energetic frontman, but Stipe is soulful and the fans are super dedicated. have fun

they are very good live.
i saw them in NYC a few months back and the show was intense.
michael stipe is a great performer.

I saw them last October as well. They're one of my favorite bands

They are excellent live. They just don't have all the special effects that U2 puts in their shows. But still they're awesome and Stipe is fun to watch. Too bad they aren't coming my way again!

I saw them headline T in the park a coupla years back, they are good. My june schedule is similar to yours- REM at loch lomond june 18 then U2 hampden june 21.
Especially since REM had to cancel their gig on tues that I was supposed to be going to.
