I don't like The Darkness but interesting tidbit...

Since there are some fans of this group in Interference here's something interesting that also mentions U2

British Prime Minister Admits To Being Fan Of THE DARKNESS - Nov. 14, 2003

British Prime Minister Tony Blair has admitted to a class of schoolchildren that he listens to THE DARKNESS' latest album, according to BBC News.

Mr. Blair (photo), who was visiting a London school, revealed his musical taste in fluent French in one of their classes.

He said that he had chosen the rock band out of his children's CD collection.

But he added that although he also listened to another rock band, the FOO FIGHTERS, he was more of a U2 man.

I heard the Darkness a few times on Virgin Radio. I don't really "get it", I guess...

Pretty cool. He could definitely have much worse taste in music, or be out there trying to ban a lot of it, like so many other politicians.

Ken Livingstone likes Blur, that's as much as I know

maybe Ian Duncan-Smith likes Iron Maiden? Any UKers care to confirm this?
