So have been sick for over a week with a cold, I decided to treat myself to 4 cds maybe 6 depending on price, but I cant decide which to get because I am not to familiar with their music:

White Stripes
Gavin Friday
PJ Harvey
Bjork
The Strokes
The Revs
The Frames

thanks!!

Gavin Friday is good too. His best albums are Each Man Kills The Thing He Wants and Shag Tobacco. A bit more cabaret than U2 (think Love Is Blindness) but very enjoyable.

BTW, I hope you're feeling better now.

I can offer advice on Bjork- I would go and get her first album 'Debut' I think it is her best one and was the most successful of all of her albums and it is the one that is the least arty farty in my opinion. It has some great songs on it, sure to get you into a happy mood:)

Bj?rk, must be Bj?rk... any album, she's great, a complete artist

my recommenation, if you don't know her music: Greatest Hits

bjork , try post , first , don't buy gh

try pj harvey - stories from city/sea,
but don't go with rid of me , it's a bit too harsh

I would say go with these... but, these are more my taste. Not to mention some of my favorite artists in the world.

White Stripes
PJ Harvey
Bjork
The Strokes
