After reading all of the excellent reviews for the current Paul McCartney tour, I decided to scan the net for tix for his show in Atlanta on Monday. Being that this was the day of the show, I ran across a guy on eBay who was trying to unload his inventory . Well, turns out that I was able to score a pair for $50. These weren't the best seats in the arena, but factoring in the TM charges, etc I paid well under half-price for the show (face value for these tix was $52 each). And as a bonus, the parking deck that we always use didn't have an attendant, so we got to park free! BTW, McCartney was awesome.
Isn't it cool to do something like that on the spur-of-the-moment? We hadn't even planned on going, then got decent seats for less than half-price, free parking, and we saw a musical legend! My wife and I had such a cool time. It felt so good to stick it to a scalper, errr "broker" for a change! Any of you guys have similar stories???
