It's fuckin' folklore! Interference would make a great study in online folklore.

Full credit to Andrew for propelling us from a bunch of talkative forum gypsies to a group that is, for better or worse, remembered for something!

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

And to reply to Bonnie from the last thread ...

Really? Do they also have the hots for their Dad? I mean, seriously, this guy's pushing fifty.

We should make a point of framing the post where he first suggests it

We should also name the day we did it Kunstmuseum Day. Like April Fools Day, only more fun.

I'm not sure, man. It's pretty fucked up. I mean, I don't really see a problem in swooning over pictures of him from 20 years ago. People do that all the time with like Jim Morrison and Marilyn Monroe and shit, even now. But they take it pretty far.

I've seen more people be less fooled by much more likely April Fools jokes.

Great ideas. I wonder if this Superthread madness will still be going on the first anniversary of the Kunstmuseum?

Dear God, if I've made over 13,000 posts here already in under a quarter of a year, what will my post count look like then?

Yeah, I mean, if they want to go nuts over eighties Bono, even ZooTV Bono, I'm not going to blast them for that. But if you're under about 30-35 and drooling all over Fat 2008 Bono like he's the sexiest thing since you discovered orgasms, then that's creepy.

He looks like a nice old man. I wonder if he'll go and feed the ducks every day.

He seriously looks like the kind of nice old man who'd be sitting by the fire in a sweater knitted by his wife, gently puffing on his pipe, while reading a book to a bunch of grandkids, with the occasional glance outside at his flower garden.
